| 170,000 WI taxpayers that filed WI Form 1 (long form) via US Mail w/ their spouse. |
A printing error led to social security numbers being printed in the address section on some Form 1 booklets mailed to Wisconsin taxpayers. The Department of Revenue has stated that it will notify all affected taxpayers, and has also notified the postal service to locate and return as many of the forms as possible. DOR has posted additional information on its website at www.revenue.wi.gov. |
