Approx. 2000 customers An agents office was broken into and a laptop computer that contained the information was stolen. All affected customers were contacted by mail and were clients of one specific agent, Rick Shannon, in the Milwaukee area. Those affected should contact their agent directly with questions, any general questions or concerns should be directed to Scott Seymour at 608-249-2111 ext. 31804. American Family is offering free credit monitoring services for all affected customers.

Approx. 50,000 GE employees (current & former) across the country An employee's laptop computer was stolen from a locked hotel room while traveling on business. A GE spokesperson says that there is no reason to believe that any data is being used criminally, but employees are being offered a one-year subscription to a credit monitoring service and have been sent letters.
